If you need a bumper for a bronco 2, yes a ranger bumper from the bronco 2 production time frame will work, as the bronco 2 and the ranger were basically the same truck. There are tons of bronco 2 and ranger parts that will interchange.

Swapping rear bumpers is easy. Fronts are a different story when going between GENs. I put a first gen front bumper on my second gen Ranger. But it's a lot of work and welding is part of it.

Realize step bumpers use different bumper brackets as well.
