How cheap?
I pretty much take everything to the local all American muffler and say hey man I want a Y pipe after the cat to 2.5 in duals with 3in tips.
If it doesn't have a cat the I get true dual flowmaster 40's
That's the cheapest best sounding basic combination I like.

I personally like the flowmaster American thunder kit. it has a moderate sound and if you youtube it, type in 1994 ford ranger exhaust and it will show a video called ford ranger 4.0l flowmaster 50 series cat back. It actually sounds good!
