No more daily driving the Jeep, it rolled over 210,000 Friday. This is my first brand new vehicle, it was a learning experience for sure, went in wanting an XL, and I left with an XLT, they got me, lol. Everything I wanted though, Black, Ecoboost, 4x4.

Looks good. :icon_thumby:

It would be fun to have an Ecoboost to play around with for a day. Lots of people out there like them.

Thanks, it is fun to drive, its nothing like my dads '97 4.6, this truck is every bit as quick as my supercharged Buick was.

I would love to have a new 5.0 STX... just bought a house so it won't be for awhile though. The '15 concept didn't help either, I am gonna have to keep the '02 around until about 2020 at this rate...

If I was to buy an f150 and not a raptor, that's it! I love it....nice truck! The biggest thing that worry me about a full size are the payments.

Payments suck no matter what they are for. :icon_thumby:

Ya the payments suck, doesnt help im horrible at haggling lol.

Congrats! you'll love the ecoboost. It pulls trailers just fine too.

Just remember, that engine is 20 lbs of nos in a 5 lb bottle. Your fuel economy will be 100% your driving style.

You won't see me complaining about 15 mpg putting my foot down on a regular occasion...I drove my ZJ easy and could only muster 13 or 14 once winter hit.

Congrats man! Those new F150's are such a nice truck. I came real close to buying one with the 5.0, but decided against it because I knew I wouldn't be able to use it as a "truck".

You wouldn't believe the number of people that bring these things in complaining of poor fuel economy because they are getting in the high 14's or 15s.

I really like it when those guys have a hitch on because Ford has a service message out about how these engines work (different fuel consumption vs load compared to a naturally aspirated engine) and to not address fuel economy concerns if it appears that the truck is used for towing.

Actually i know a kid who bought one back in the fall to replace his Cummins Ram, thats all he did was complain about the mileage, now apparently he wants back in a Ram, didnt learn his lesson the first time i guess lol.

A little modifying..

I blacked out the tail lights and 3rd brake light as well with body color, I'll get a pic of those whenever I get it washed.
