I am looking for a way to stop my wheel bearings from coming loose up front when I go up to 35s and a bigger wheel offset. With 33s, I cranked the locknut down super-hard, but even then they would back off. I also tried jamming a piece of metal in the spindle notch under the lock washer, but found that unsatisfactory. I'm looking for some ideas how to reliably solve this problem.
I heard that the Warn Part# 32720 locknut conversion somehow fixes this problem. Is this correct?

You're not tightening it down enough.
Tighten it to 250ft-lbs (put a torque wrench on it, don't just guess at it). (9000 miles on 35s here so far and not once have I had to mess around with the hubs or bearings)

I guess I need a new torque wrench. Mine only goes to 150.

Yeah I invested in a 250 ft/lb torque wrench for that reason.

I usually go to 225 and I've never had any problems whatsoever.
