Default Confused

Hey what's up everyone I'm confused I have an option on geting either a 01 ranger xlt 4wd with 98000 miles on it 3.0 with 8.8 rear and 4.10 gears for 4000 or a 2004 edge 4wd with 70000 miles on it 4.0 also with 8.8 rear and 4.10 gears For 6500 which one should I go with also out of the 2 which would have more options on lifting it

It 3 years newer, 30K miles less, more powerful engine (that will get the same or better mileage), all for $2500 more.

Personally I like the pre-98 trucks as they're alot easier to swap solid axles into....
