Default where to run the co ax cable?

I know that I'm gonna need to run my Co ax cable from the antenna to the CB so what's the best day to get it into the cab? Doors jam? Or drill a hole somewhere Anne put a rubber gromit in there to seal it off from water?

My era of Ranger has a grommet in the floor right below your feet when you're sitting in the truck... So that's where I ran mine through.

Mine has grommets in the rear cab floor behind the seats. I cut a hole with an Xacto knife and ran the coax cable through there.

RG-58U cable is fine for CB (<30 MHz) IF it has a good-quality shield braid (or a 100% foil wrap). There's literally tons of crap 58U cables that don't have this however (Radio Shack's garbage is probably the absolute worst these days ), your chances of getting a good quality cable are much better if you stick with RG8X or 8M cable (which will almost universally have a foamed center insulation too, which is also better).
