Long story short..
I hydrolocked my old 2.3 and replaced it with a like new 2.5 out of a 99.
I keep getting bank1 too lean. I replaced the o2 sensors thinking that might be the problem, same crap. Its reading lean and dumping fuel.
I'm getting around 15mpg highway.
I checked everything for vacuum leaks and unhooked the EVAP system because I kept getting code 1443, same crap.
So I did some research on alldata and almost all of the pins are in the same places.
If I was to put injectors from a 2.5 in my truck and swap over to the 98 PCM, that should fix the problem I believe.
Or even just swap out the PCM.
But heres the problem. What PCM do I need?
I did a search and came up with this.
From the little I could find, I need one of the bottom two.
Just for shits and giggles. Heres the "research" I did.
97 pinout.
98 pinout.
