Going to be doing my rockers (actally from the bodyline down) in roll on bedliner. I was thinking of hitting the plastic flares too... Would bedliner stick to the plastic?? I assume it would with the same prep steps, or would I need a plastic primer as well...

if it works, I am defilitly doing the plastic mazda grill as it is starting to fade

I know herculiner will stick on plastic, and yes the prepping goes pretty much the same as metal. What kind of bedliner are you planning on using?

Spray some Bulldog Adhesion promoter on first, that shit will make anything stick. You can get it almost anywhere, including Walmart.

i used a green scotchbrite pad on my flares an the bedlidner stuk to them find.. on my valance i roughed it up a bit with 120 grit sand paper.. stuck really good

thanks guys..

I am using Duplicolor bedliner.. I know its not the best... but the rest of the paintjob is from a rattle can so i dont really care that much. the thing that will take the most time is prep work

Herculiner will stick to ANYTHING.

Just make sure you use gloves and you remove them when answering calls to nature.

Thanks, fastpakr. That old thread came to mind as I was reading this one. Hilarious!

lmfao, I love that thread.

well i did it.. seems ok.. flares go on next, just gonna glue them on with construction adhesive...

Not too bad, the whole paint job has cost me only 250 bucks
