My 2002 is starting to make noises like my 2000 did when a wheel bearing was going out of it. For my 2000 I had to replace the whole hub assembly. Does anyone know if the 2002 is the same way?

I don't think they have changed the basic rotor/hub design since sometime in the middle 90's.
But if a wheel bearing has not gone too far and damaged either the spindle or the rotor.
You should be able to replace both bearings and the seal for less than $30.
