Default solid axel in a 85 f150

i just bought a 85 4wd f150 and found out it has 3.08s for gears i was wondering what would be involved to swap a solid dana 44 from a 79 f150 ive heard its bolt in but dont want to tear my truck apart to find out if its true or not.

Damn near bolt in. Gotta make a trac bar bracket and relocate the rad arm brackets. Could be done in a weekend if you plan it right.
