Hey guys I am about to install my 8.8 swap, I got it from a scrap yard and am thinking i should go ahead and put a new pinion seal on while its out and easy to work on.
my main question is if I mark that nut and count threads so i can put it back to how it was will that be sufficient as far as getting the bearing preload correct? was also thing about ordering a crush sleeve eliminator but dont know a lot about them, will it give me good preload without having equipment for checking it?
