Default 85 Parking Brake cable too short...

Hi Folks.

Picked up an 85 Ranger 2.0 (same as Mazda B) for cheap. Runs ok, but the parking break never worked. Checked it out today found that the cable was seized, and had been disconnected from the adjuster.

After I got the cable moving again, I went to reconnect it to the adjuster assembly, but the damn cable was too short!

I'm guessing that there's a piece missing. Looking at the adjuster bracket, I can't figure out how the cable would even attach! I'm sure you all know exactly what I'm talking about!

The Haynes is useless, thoughts? Any pics of a fully assembled adjuster (85 Ranger) would be very usefull too!

Thanks.
