Have a 1997 Ex with the auto 4x4 and the Transfer case is howling, it gets stuck in 4 wheel drive 4x4 and 4lo lights flash in unison, randomly while going down the road (shift motor is new and works fine) etc... Plus the whole electric clutch driving the front axle thing bothers me (this thing will be wheeled) Can get a 1354E out of a 2000 ranger (has the correct Rzeppa front output) cheap. I know it will bolt to the trans, will the shift motor bolt to it? will the driveshafts need to be shortened/lengthened? will I need to swap the GEM to make it work correctly?
