Default fat mat sound deadener

fat mat is an awesome product. i bought 100 sqft of there product and did the whole inside of my 84 ranger standard cab. i did the roof, floor, inside the door cavity, over the doors behind the door panels, under the dash, behind the seat, and both of the pillars where the seat belts are, and had a lot left over. let me tell you something. before with the windows down at 55 it was loud. now windows down at 55, you can carry on a conversation. also, i have a pioneer stereo with 6x9s in the doors and 4 1/2s in the dash. i had added a 400 watt amp with 2 12 subs. it still did not have the bass i want. now with no amp and just the speakers, with the addition of the fat mat, my windows oscilate back and forth. i definatly recommend this product to anybody wanting to add some sound deadener to there car or truck. check em out www.fatmat.com

+1 on that. I just put the stuff in my 06 extended cab. I got 100 sq ft as well and did all 4 doors and double layered the floor and triple layered the back wall. I have a Gibson exhaust that was killing me on the highway with the drone. With the fatmat installed it is so much quieter in the cab. I got mine from ebay, and the shipper had it to me in 3 days.

I did the entire Cab (except the roof) with FatMat and WOW is all I can say, very quiet.

I need to do the doors once I get the new speakers.

Really don’t know how much of the door I need to do any comments ?

Notice it helping with insulation warmth wise? If it's good at that too I might just have to toss it in my scout.

That stuff works well. I did the whole interior of my diesel. The noise from the stacks were killing me on long trips. It's alot less noticable now.

yes. my v8 had the flowmaster dump right under you and there wasnt that bad of a drone in the cab.

i ended up going lightning style, but the noise inside the cab has been cut down tremendously.
