so i was surfing advanced auto parts website for performance parts just playing around trying to get upgrade ideas and i came across the carborator section and according to their website you can upgrade to a edelbrock carb?
Wouldn't you have to buy an entirely new manifold, or would you buy a adaptor?
Really what different would it really make? they suck in air and mix fuel right?
Even though it would be bad ass to slap that on with a nice chromed out filter.

well tax's are being done and i always treat my baby (my truck) to something special lol

Going from EFI to a carb is a big downgrade. Nobody makes carb manifolds for a 3.0. Even if they did, it's a lot more complcated than that. There are many systems on the truck that are computer controlled and need a functional EFI system to operate. The website is wrong. It should not list a carb for any 2000 Ranger. Or any vehicle from 2000 for that matter.

Its a universal part, it will show up no matter what the car.

I think they need to fix their shit then lol. I figured it wouldn't work but hell i thought i'd throw the question out there anyways. i'm just looking for some options before i decide to invest time and money into rebuilding a 302 and tossing it in.
