hey everyone, im new here so forgive me if this is a common question or if im in the wrong spot....

me and my friend just got a 03 ford ranger 2wd coil spring front suspension truck. 3.0 V6, 5 speed transmission. 2 of his rims are bent, so we ordered 4 new rims. we got cragar v5 15x8, 3.75 backspacing, with -19mm offset (rim size recommended in your tech library section)

now my question is, what size tires can i put on without any rubbing problems? im looking at bfg a/t tires, so i want to go the biggest possible on the stock suspension.

a mild lift is probably going to be in the future, but in order for us to pass inspection, i need rims and tires now. so with this size rim, what size tire can i fit in the stock suspension???

thanks again for all the help!!

A 235/75R15 Will fit. I'm pretty sure a 30x9.50R15 will fit but its a PITA size. And 31x10.50R15's may fit but I don't know how much lower a stock 2wd sits compared to the 4x4's.

fyi 23575r15 255/70r15 275/60r15 295/50r15 are the same outside diameter 30x9.50-15 will do fine

^^ they are the same size for sure. sometimes you can get the 30/9.50x15 as a C-rated tire and that can firm up the handling some if you prefer to drive a little more sporty. little stiffer sidewalls with that rating. just a thought.

i have BFG A/T KO 235/75r15's and i have one inch clearance inside when fully cranked. i wouldnt go any wider. i have 15x7 rims.
