How do I know if I have a cargo light? Is the center white (mine is red)? If I do not have one is the truck pre-wired for one?

The center is the red brake light. Cargo lights are the two white lights on either side of the brake light. If the entire lens is red, you don't have cargo lights. To see if you're pre-wired for cargo lights, unscrew the lens and look at the wire harness going to the light. If you have 3 wires, you are pre-wired. If you have only 2 wires, you're not pre-wired.

Thanks for the info, I will check this weekend. I assume the light housing is the same between a Ranger and a B?
