so i rebuilt a 95 4.0 that i had . ive put about 3000 miles on the rebuild an it runs good. i have a really loud CLanking noise. sounds like marbles some times. 
it has a brand new 410 camshaft, 5.550 length push rods from smith brothers and BRAND NEW heads from odyessa cylinder head. and Brand New Rocker Assembly from delta cam. i Still have this really Loud noise. when you give it more thorttle the noise speeds up . so iam guessing its valve train some where. we thought it was bad lifters so we took the lifters out of my old motor that didnt make noise and we still have the same problem 
what do you guys think the problem is? i cant think of any thing else it could be. its all BRAND new parts.

all i know is you can not use old lifters on a new cam dont run it any more
