changing 3.0L to a 4.0L

i have to put a new motor in my 2002 ford ranger edge 2wd and i was thinkin about a 5.0l hard to find one around here so i found a 4 will i have to change the wireing harness or motor mounts or trans help me pleas and thanks for your time

You'll need the complete donor vehicle! NOTHING you have now will work with a 4.0! Everything from the radiator to the exhaust pipes will have to be swapped from the original vehicle...
It will NOT be worth the time and trouble.
If you want a 4.0 ranger then repair that 3.0 and sell the vehicle or trade it on one with the 4.0 already in it.
