hey i have a pinhole in the hose that goes into the intake not the rubber hose but the aluminum part that comes out there is two of them and one has a pinhole that shoots water all over do i have to replace the whole intake plenum or is there a way just to replace the two inlets thanks in advance any help would be great

jb weld for the win thats what i whould try.

Clamp a piece of rubber hose (gas line) over the hole, with a hose clamp directly over the hole in the line. Used this many times to fix hydraulic lines on heavy equipment in the field. Depending on the situation, may not be a permanent fix but should last a long time.

Yes, that is the HWBP mod.

I did that to my 2000 by running new heater hoses and no T's.

Use a section of the old hose to join the two nipples left.

No ill effects.

You do not need to put anything on the elbows sticking out of the intake, just leave em blank. The heater hoses that connect to the elbows, just connect them together with a elbow or some other device.

I did this to mine years ago with no ill effects.
