Ok, silly question time again...dontcha just love it! :not_i:

I need to figure out how to flip my drivers' seat forward without the Seat Release Handle. It has a bit of a rip in the plastic cover for where the handle _Used_ to be, but I can't figure out what to use, and which thing to grab to flip the bloody seat up...it is getting real frustrating. Looking at the other side didn't help much either.:annoyed::dntknw: I feel like a real idiot not being able to figure this blasted thing out.... :annoyed:

So the lever broke off? I'd try to stick your finger in there and feel for where it broke and maybe see if you can prey it up. If it's sharp or you can't get leverage, maybe use a screwdriver to try to pry the stub of the lever.

Maybe you could get vise-grips on it as sort of a longer-term temporary fix.

I second the vice grips, they work for everything. I used them to keep the right side of the bench seat in my old ranger from sliding back and forth. They are like the duct tape of the tool world.

I thought duct tape was a tool :dunno: as well as the best bandage in the world!! I keep a small flattened roll in my first aid kit
