Hello all,
I have a chance to buy a 1995 Ford Explorer 4 door 4wd 5-speed with 126k miles. The truck has a small rust hole about the size of a Pepsi can top on the rear 1/4 panel. It is loaded with all options including traction control. The right rear spring hanger has been replaced and looks good underneath. The price is $1500. Should I? What problems should I look for? I've owned 4 Bronco IIs....... I know the auto trans were a problem but this is a 5 speed. 'Ol it also a new clutch. Any advice would be grateful....... ![]()

It might be to late for advice, but on the west cost that is a kinda high price and on the 95 if its going to be a daily driver its fine but if you want to lift it and go bigger it cost more to do a 95 because of the way ford did the torsion bar brakets. just my 2 cents

It's not too late I'm buying it Sunday. I looked at it today it has new brakes and rear spring hangers. I work at our local hospital in the communication field (phone man). The Explorer belonged to one of the hospital's lawyers. It was taken very well care of.
