Is this a rip off....?

That is a heater blower motor. They max out at what, 3000RPM? This would actually slow down the air intake speed, and make the engine work harder to breathe. The air movement would be spinning the blower cage, whether on or off. Not to mention the (relatively) massive current load on a low amperage system (~75-120 Amps)
What a fraud.

:icon_confused: Why not try a large funnel in the front of the truck? It would probly cause the truck to slow down because of drag? Lag would be bad also, you would have to get up to speed before it would be forcing air through? :dunno: guess you would have to get the super chip off ebay also, and the electric blower? Just for the low speed take off's.

I have seen a leaf blower feed an engine...... actually gained 5hp, but the altenator draw would negate any gain from an electric blower instantly.

But wait, wasn't this GM's plan originally on T/A's?

btw my 66/71 Industrial Injection turbo on my sled puller was closer to a 30,000 rpm turbo.

yea u wanna test it just get a damn hair dryer and stick it in ur intake tube while its idling and see wut happens ill go ahead and tell u nothing not a damn thing!

Ya it does look like a rip off but I did think "how much power gain would you get if you hooked up the a/c unit to the intake on a gas and a deisel engine?" But that would be like driving it in the winter time though. But ya I could make one of those electric motor "turbos" for less. Nice how it says poop on the dyno results, that makes me want to bie it.

Oh no! ANOTHER hair drier thread!!!
