anyone know where the best place to mount a cb radio would be in a 88 bronco2? id like to try to keep it out of tha way if i could just wondering if yall had any other ideas were to put it?

if you listen to the old timers they tell you to put a 10 foot antenna on your roof with a 1000 watt amp so you can talk to your cousin in arkansas.i might mount a 4 footer on the rear bumper or swingaway though so branches don't rip it off
 
Don't the 1988's have a roof mounted console where the ESOF buttons are? Could it be mounted up there, with the wires running under the headliner and down the pillar?
 
oops i misunderstood your Q.i put mine under the dash over the tranny hump and it hasen't interfered with the shifter yet.
 
this was during a test fit, but you get the idea.

Its not the best spot... Occasionally it bumps my leg which then makes it hit the 4wd shifter. You probably don't have an old school handheld CB anyway....

nope dont haveone lik that!! lol actually never seen one like that ive found my place i want to mount it at im just looking for my place to ut my antenna!! lol ill get it sooner or later i guess
