Default New and need help!

Hello i am into the diesel side of things and my shop teacher needs to me to work on his 2002 2.3L ranger 4cyl.

I dont know to much about the rangers so i figured i would ask here.

I am very mechanicly inclinded but need to know what cheap mods i can do to this thing.

He wanted me to do that air muffler mod but i believe he doesnt have one. tell me if i am wrong! thank you a bunch!

Air Muffler? never heard of one...

Maybe an Air Filter or Exhaust Muffler?

its on this website something about deleting the air muffler will allow more air etc.. do you got any cheap easy mods up your sleave that would work on his truck?

I think that may be the noise reducer in the intake tube, never done it myself but it may help.

As for mods...what are you looking for? More power?

yes alittle more power and mpg.. this truck is completely stock and he is a tight ass so i know that he isnt goin to do anything huge
