I have seen the question of the big firewall 30-pin "cannon" plug pin-out pop up here time and again with no good, complete response available to be given. So I got busy and sat down to make one that is better than what Ford gave us.
The pin face and circuit number/color chart at the top are copied directly from a 1993 Ford Ranger wiring manual. The larger chart below matches circuit number and wire color up with circuit function as taken and compared from the 1990 Ranger and 1994 Explorer manuals. The notes below at the bottom are for wires that either change location or do odd things. For example, in 1994 pin 400, main power for power windows, is removed from connector 105 and runs directly to the windows. Also, despite my best efforts and probably 100 combined passes through the wiring books, including a night spent searching the long-form schematic books I cannot find circuit 275. It just seems to not exist on paper.
