damn transmissions

How hard is it to tear down a tranny out of a 87 b11 and scrap to identical one with different problems to make one good one I'm at my wits end dealing with used trannys in and out in and out driving me crazy i just want to get a decent one in there and be done with it and nut have to worry

What tranny you have? Manuals are a piece of cake.

Its a fm~145 im running a fm~146 right now but its a junk yard tranny and is sounding real rough idk how long its gonna last the 145 is the one i took out it don't want to stay I'm first or second because a cat dozer pushed it back thirty feet unknowingly while it was in gear parked
