Hello folks. Im having a problem with my 2.5L. When I first bought the truck a couple months back I pulled the oil dip stick to check the oil. Then a month later I checked it again (bc I was to change it). And now It wont go all the way into the tube anymore. The dip stick hangs out about 6 or 7 inches. Should i replace the tube and dip stick? What are the procedures on removing the tube. Thanks for any help.

It seems to get hung up where the tube has a bend in it.

have you tried flipping it over? sometimes they need a little bend at the tip to get past that last bend in the tube, if that doesn't work try making a small bend at the end (about 1/2" to an inch from the tip) then try it again both ways...

alright, I'll try that here in a few mins. Thanks for the tip.

Welp, I've tried bending it a couple different ways and places. Didn't work.
