Here's my 86 ranger build. I'm going to take tons of pictures and document every step of the project. I've been reading and doing research for years so it's time to start. I've included a url to photobucket that I hope is reachable. There is no order but you can (HOPEFULLY) see the red and silver 86 and the parts. The rest of the picture's is some of my other rangers and explorers that I'll probably be robbing from along the way. I'm selling parts from almost everything pictured to help fund the swap so let me know if anything is needed.
Any helpful comments and input would be appreciated. For now the plan is to go carbureted but that may change. The motor is a 302 40 over from a 89 f150 with nothing but the best in it. I also have the 5 spd. trans. and transfer from the same truck.
I've been looking for some info on wiring the trans and transfer to my 86 but haven't really found much. I'll post soon with pictures of my progress. Here's the link I hope it works.

Thanks for getting the picture up. It looks sad without the 35's. I ended up putting the 302 into a 2wd ranger. I bought a complete running 89 f250 with a 351w that only has 66k miles on it for $200. I plan on swapping everything into the ranger. The only thing that holds me back is wiring. Wiring is my weak point and I procrastinate because of it. I'm hoping to have a couple more v8 swaps done this summer if everything goes right. Thanks for any suggestions or tips in advance.
