Hello just bought a 1990 ranger ext cab, 2.9 , 4x4 with a 5 speed. has 130,000 miles on it. guy was asking $2500 but i ended up getting it for $1700
Rpm changes a few hundered rpm at idle, im thinking iac.
Also its a xlt and has all the ac controls but nothing under the hood.
did the xlt's come with out ac?
ive been averaging 20 mpg with it so far, the previous owner pulled the bed to paint it because the paint was flaking off and broke the connector at the top of the fuel tank so i have it ziptied to the tank
but the fuel gauge still wont work.
Anything i need to look out for on this truck ( engine issues, or anything else)
its a late 2.9 with the updated heads and has the mitubishi transmission.
