Default Steering box Rebuild

The steering box is loose and leaking in my 86. Is there a way to rebuild these or do i just buy a reman? I understand you can put seals in them but the gears must be worn out in mine because it has all sorts of play in it.
Thanks in advance
Beef

Yes, they are rebuildable. I'm rebuilding mine tomorrow or the day after.

They are adjustable for tightness.

Also, the yellow writing in your signature is hard to read. It's more annoying that attention grabbing, so you might consider changing the color so that more people can actually read it. There's also a classifieds section on this website; just be sure to follow the rules at the top of that forum.
