Default pull bronco II for Ranger?

I'm at Ecology looking for a ranger rearend 7.5 L/S with a 4.10 gear ratio, and found a bronco II with it, everything looks good for swap but will I lose hauling capasity or power if I do? Are they compatible?

No they are not the same...

The spring perches on the bronco2 axles are a bit more than 1" further apart than those on a Ranger.

And the axle is 1-5/8" wider than the axle of a Gen1 Ranger

ALL the extra length is on the right hand side (the diff is more centered in the axle)

The perches are different widths. I swapped them out on a truck once. You'll have to cut them off and put new ones on or try not to destroy the ones you pull off so you can reuse them.
