Default Pennsylvania to Alaska

So I have this dream of driving PA to Alaska next summer if I can find an internship or summber job as an aircraft mechanic up in Alaska, and figure if I wanna take the time driving there now is my chance. Any warnings or anything to remember for what is practically going to easily be 3500 miles 1 way? I recently drove 1100 miles over two days with ZERO problems thank god besides finding out my window squeaks like crazy when you roll it up or down when its hot out.
