starter headache

My problem is that I replaced the starter but now when i go to reconnect the battery, the truck will start up with no key. I double checked the connections to make sure that nothing is touching but can't seem to find the problem. :fie:
 
wires are on your starter solenoid incorrectly attached, or the starter solenoid is stuck engaged....if u replaced it with a reman unit with the solenoid on the starter u could have a defective rebuild...
 
Sounds like the battery & starter cables are backwards. Greg
