Default radio acting weird

Hi my radio turns on fine when i start my truck but after a lil bit the time always differs the music stops but the screen is still on. If i pop the face plate off or shut the truck off itll work just fine then stop again. Is it the radio or a wire or something else?

The stereo in my Zuki used to do that when I was playing CDs...it was just getting old and probably dirt inside or the ETS was killing it. Popping off the face place actually helped so I think the contacts were dirty. You could try using some alcohol or other cleaner and a q-tip to clean the contacts...

My stock radio did that. It eventually died to...you could deer power getting to it but it didn't want to do anything except barely insert and eject a tape. Replaced it and no more problems
