Default speaker size

I got a 94' b4000, reg cab. Factory radio was gone when i bought it and replaced with a cd player. I am out at field camp right now and want to buy some front speakers so they will be there when i get back in 2 weeks or so. I think they are 6.5" but can't check, any help? Thanks!

You may want to have a look at crutchfield.com. Enter your vehicle info and select a product category and it will show what will fit/work in your truck.

I have tried crutchfield.com but wasn't sure on the original radio options..not sure if that would make a difference in what speakers they would put in but thought I try here. Heavyfire14-so all 4 are the same size? I put 5x7s in the rear but on the door the speaker vents are not the same size. I wish i could just go look but can't right now. Thanks

stickshift-your sure about this? stupid question-the speaker vents on the doors look more like a 6-1/2 vs. a 6x8 which the backs are.

Yeah I'm sure. Your '94 door panel is the exact same as mine and the hole for the speaker is the same exact size as mine because they didn't change the door from '93-'11 almost at all. The previous owner might have put in a crappy 6.5" but there is room for a 6x8 speaker.

And when it comes to speakers, bigger always equals more sound.
