Yesterday i was using a zip disc to trim some metal when the off cut wrapped itself around the wheel and fwap, fwap, fwap, fwap cut my left hand fingers to ribbons. Drove my self to the hospital for eleven stitches.... it was scary, I was in shock and wasn't sure I would make it with out fainting....but I did. All I cut was meat and skin so it seems I still have use of my fingers but it could have been really bad.
A reminder to make sure to use gloves and guards. ![]() Richard

I'm right handed for most things and my wife helps for the others![]() Thanks for the well-wishes. I just thought I'd post up as a reminder to others to NOT take that short cut.... take the extra 30 seconds to find and use the safety gear. Richard

Wow...they sure can chew up a perfectly good hand...had a grinder jump onto my wrist once and it took the skin off right to the bone in no time...take your time and let it heal properly...nothing like having no feeling in your fingers or not being able to bend them when you need to...
