Personally, if I had access to a private road, I'd be doing to same thing the OP has done..... burn off a bunch of old tires! If my buddies are dumb enough to stand too close and get hurt, I'll personally nominate them for the 'Darwin' awards. Its up to the bystanders to figure out the amount of risk they are willing to take, they know what is going to happen!
