Paypal and Ebay :pissedoff:

Ok, both paypal and ebay have pissed me off and done me wrong, all due to a buyer that lied...It's got me so pissed I'm breathing fire!! What happened is I had an auction on ebay ( Clicky ) and the winning bidder took over a week to pay for it, and took several days to contact me about payment (like most non-paying bidders do). After he finally made payment, I sent it the same day ( Bad on my part for not insuring it, or sending a tracking number, tried to send it the cheapest I could) and after almost 3 weeks he states he never got it. I went back to the postmaster and they said he should have gotten it a week ago. After relaying this info to ebay, they decided to refund his whole purchase amount including shipping. Paypal f^$&ed me by charging me the fee, but not reversing the fee when the refund went through. So now I'm out the TV, the money, the paypal fee, and the shipping fee :pissedoff:

I wish there was something else I could do, but I'm screwed...I could go to the a$$holes house, even though he is 5 states away, I'm so pissed I'm about to take a road trip!! Just venting, but it pisses me off there are a$$holes and deadbeats in the world that do that to people....

That freakin blows man. I'm currently working in a customer service call center for Bank of America and if theres one thing I know about paypal, they are good about messing stuff up.

I take about 100 calls a day, and paypal literally is the #2 most common thing f'ing up peoples accounts. Just behind directv who double charges, charges whenever they feel, raises price by double, and just shaft the customer.

comcast is pretty bad too. If anyone wants to know the whole list of the worsts let me know.

Where is this D-bag ,I will go at least see if he has your tv! I am in TACOMA WA. You did not say where he is/was-I will donate 50 miles (round trip,gas prices being what they are) of travel and 1/2 a can of WHOOP-ASS :headbang:

I never ship anything without making the receiver sign for it. I've been burnt more than I care to be. I add the cost of the confirmation of delivery right in my starting bid price. I'LL ADD A FULL can of WHOOP-ASS..

^^ Tracking number is the only way you can prove you sent the package. Even receipt of postage won't work. Sucks man, but that's the #1 rule, always, always, always get a tracking number. I have been in that same situation, never received a tracking number from a seller, never received the item, hell yes I got a refund.

^^^what he said, Bro. Sorry, but YOU messed it up. Never, ever send anything with out insurance and a confirmation/tracking notice. I buy and sell on Ebay and never had an issue. It is worth the extra few bucks to send it the correct way. You cannot blame Ebay for what happend. This was your fault this time..and maybe what if the guy never got it and he is being honest? He may never have received it.

This same thing happened to me the first time I sold something on ebay. But he said the charger I sent with the phone was the wrong one. Which it wasn't. I didn't put delivery confirmation on it. So he filed a claim that he never got it. And this pissing me off because he clearly got.the item. But took advantage of the fact I didn't put delivery confirmation on it. So the next day I shipped an empty box with deliver confirmation on it. And paypal dropped the claim

Tracking numbers don't work either sometimes. I ordered a tool to work on one of my rifles, the post office said it was delivered by the tracking number, and it wasn't. I figure the postal carrier delivered to the wrong house, it's happened before. But this time, whoever got it, kept it. So I ordered another. Got it last week.

In your case, karma will get the POS dude.

I understand and know its my fault for not getting the tracking number and/or delivery confirmation, but I got a connection in the usps and they called the local office near him and remember the package, and said they delivered it. Based on this info eBay is going to re-open the claim once I get the letter from the postmaster saying it was delivered... The thing is, I didn't have any problems sending the other two I had...but then again, you get what you pay for...I paid for cheap, and I got it. But never again...
