The sensor for the guage is located on the rear of the engine on the driver side

If it's like my 92' 2.3 it's on the heater hose that comes from the tstat housing to the firewall. Around 18" down the line from the housing itself. Why I don't know, seems weird to put it there but there it sure is.....

the one for the computer is in the intake manifold pointing up near the #2 fuel injector, the one for the gage is above the oil filter
