Flip out rear window

How difficult is it to change a non flip out rear window on a BII to a flip out? I have an 88 I wouldlike to do that to. Not sure if its a one man job or not. Back glass is broken and if I have to change it I may as well get me a flip out window. Thanks

not that hard i have read...every thing bolts right up....i am trying to find a hatch that has the windows....no one has the bronco 2 in there yards any more

There's lots of BIIs around here in at the one JY I go to. Even a RWD one!
But yeah, switching the whole hatch is a piece of cake, probably easier than just changing the wondow. The hatches with the rear glass that opens though, arent that plentiful.

Yeah, the wrecker I go to has 2-4 B2s usually, but I have yet to see one with the flip glass...

Does anyone know what year(s)/Model(s) they came on?

I believe it was on the 84and 85's. Its awesome to have one. I got mine for50 bucks.
Took about 30min tochangeit out by myself. Worth every penny.

i here it's pretty easy. just switch everything over from the flip up window hatch to your non flip hatch. and don't forget to grab the weather stripping.

damn, you make me realise that I got one complete hatch with the opening glass for free...about 8 months ago...and it still sit in the garage...shame on me.
I have to get to this job.

the hatch I have with the swing out glass is broken real bad so I want to switch just the glass as my hatch is in good shape.
