i have a 98 ranger auto trans. Just a couple of days ago there was a really loud tapping noise and my first and second gear wouldnt do nothing but when it could finally get to third it went good. I have no clue what it is i am thinking about trashing this trans and getting a rebuilt one. Also going from reverse to park makes a loud squealing noise if anyone knows what it may be let me know. If anyone is selling a trans for the truck let me know
