If you can't go through it or around it, then go over it.
how come I can't keep the battery terminal tight on my 96 F350? I tighten them and after about a week they loosen up (about 75 miles of driving). I cleaned all the corrosion off and the batteries are new advanced auto batteries but I had the same problem with the interstate batteries that were in it. I am going to replace the clamps with gold ones and if that doesn't work it may motivate me to convert to AGM group 31 batteries........

AZ may have a battery terminal "cap" for very cheap. It is a lead cap that fits over the post.

The other option is to remove some material from the gap of the terminal clamp.

will have to look into this.

yeah, this didn't work..... tried that before buying new batteries. the posts on the advanced auto batteries are bigger, but not big enough. Makes me wonder if the batteries Ford used on the assembly line had bigger posts
