i like your autocad drawing. and it will definitly work.

i'm looking at making some for my b2. but i think i'm going to do it a little differently. feel free to steal any ideas or tell me why i shouldn't do whatever it is. but i think a tube door needs to be low and out of the way. but the back needs to be just high enough to catch ur hip if you were to somehow try to fall out. but the front needs to be open so visibility is max. i want to make a set that looks like my regular half doors. but the angles i want to match the front angle down. and the latch is prob going to be low so as my truck gets bigger i can still open the door easily. i might add a tab to mount a light that i can shine on the front tire for nite wheeling too. and for shits and giggles i want to make them suicide.

here is my regular half doors.

Im going with a similar design as spdcrazy. Except with gen3 ranger doors. Whats important to me though, is since we dont have a tub like a heep. Yes I like the fact that a heep has a tub, I want my doors to seal well on the bottom so that i dont have anything slide out off of my floor.

I really like that tube door design, I would place a piece of plexiglass between the bottom and middle tube.

ya i think im going to put in some plexi glass from the bottom to the diagnal bar to keep shit in and keep mud and water of the pant legs, no one likes wet pants lol. also thought the rollbar padding was a good idea for a comfy armrest. i just got the latchs finished up today fab'd up a system so you can unlatch them with a handle on the inside of the door ill get some picks up tomorrow of that.

another way to keep the tube doors open but keep ur stuff inside and the water and mud out. is to put some little snaps on it. and have a small piece of fabric attached to it. but that all depends on how the doors are designed aswell.

here's what i have so far. i dont have a scanner so i cant put up my auto cad blue print so here's the windows paint version lol. what do you guys thing. is it ranger worthy:icon_cheers:

anything works! but i see that its missing a very valuable thing...

:icon_pepsi: cup holders! easy solution tho. clip on ones fabbed from pvc pipe! cap it and then enjoy with your favorite beverage... just be sure its not coffee. it gets cold really quick in the mornings with all that cold air.

oh ya thought of that to lol just hard to draw they gotta be steal though so i can powder coat i also hace some water resistant speakers 3 1/2" i might try to add on they have a nice plastic housing so you cant see the back.
