so you want to rob the 2.9 of the EFI that gives it 30 more horse power over the 2.8 and make the whole world breath your exhaust........

anything is possible to do but it would be a waste of your time. A 2.8 intake and distributor will not fit a 2.9. Having your 2.9 properly diagnosed and then fixing it is the better route.

Actually i dont think it will.
...the horsepower differnce comes mainly from other tuning, not just the EFI.
