having problems with injection system on 87 BC II, do they make a intake and carb to fit this motor, I would just do away with all inject junk.

Biggest issue you're going to have to deal with is the distributor. If you search, you'll find a thread about putting a 2.8L distributor into a 2.9L, though I haven't seen this done for my own eyes. Nor do I have any intentions of trying it, but it would be cool if someone could get it working.
It says so in Sven Pruett's book, but we're also talking about a guy who has done completely outragous things with theses engines. He didn't go into much detail other than having to go to the dealership to get the correct distributor gear. It's 2008 now, that might be kind of a problem. The parts guy I delt with at Ford couldn't even get me PCM pins for a 5.0L mainharness without me removing one for reference. Wtf would I have done had the mainharness been in the car?!
On the other hand, there's a risk that it wouldn't work and you'd end up with having to deal with a failed project.
That's really the only practical way to do it.
It would probably be easier to start with pulling codes from the PCM and try to figure out what's going on..

Putting a carb on a fuel injected vehicle is going to make it into a huge POS, if it even runs.
