Will we beat that this year?
I wonder why the sight was so busy at this time last year, was it on account of elections?
Whatever the reason it would be cool to top that number!

I'm pretty sure that was around the time when there were a bunch of people joining and visiting the site because Ford was pissed that Jim was selling things in his shop that were Ford related without getting permission from Ford.

Ya, that was probably from the Ford vs Jim's sticker dilema.

There was also the other time when the server service took Jim's site away. And he had to start from scratch. Probably accounted for the most sign ups, and that was back in Aug. 2007 (I joined sometime back in 2004).
