early twin I beam for the ranger.

anybody ever think about using the early twin I beam for a wider front. Th king pin style looks like it might work. They are bendable steel and maybe with a little fab?e
 
yep, it use be done all the time.up to about 5 years ago or so it was the hot ticket.use to be the holly grail.

even if you garage fab the beams, mounts, radius arms, sterring etc, the one thing that will cost you is the spindals, or take time fiding the correct one's.

As the old equal lenth beams were rear steer off the trucks. There are a few vans that had front steer, or you can find the 80-81 f100 or f150 depending if you use 7/8 or 1 inch kingpin beams.

then there is the afermarket also, but they are pretty costly.sandy cone/auto fab, SI's full fab ones, blitz I think makes some too

Thanks, It looks like a wash. Dam, this could get expenseive.
