Hey guys, looking for factory tape stripes. All I've found so far are 1" one color stripes that I can put a second, 1/4" tape stripe on to approximate the original stripe. These are for an 84 Ranger and are similar to the 80-86 Ford truck tape stripes that were very popular for two tone trucks.

Looks like this:

NOS or (what is most likely and what I did) make them by layering common striping tape.

I too am having this problem... what did you ever decide to do on your truck? I really like the look of the factory stripe.

a lot of those stripes are still avail at bodyshop supply stores, dont know if they have those exact ones though.

The stripe dimensions on my 1983 Ranger XL two tone is 1" wide for the larger inboard stripe and 3/8" for the smaller outboard stripe. The Truck was originally painted Raven Black (paint code 1C) and Metallic Silver (paint code 1G) with Orange and Bittersweet pin stripes from the factory. As the truck aged and the paint thinned from weather, scratches and dings, I repainted the whole truck to keep it from rusting with Imron 99U (Black) about 15 years ago. Now I'm restoring the truck back to factory colors but will probably have a vinyl graphics company fabricate a new stripe kit for me after the body and paint work is done. Heres a shots of what remains of some of the factory applied stripes on the tailgate.
