These aren't of the Salt Lake Valley, but they are my view from the Salt Lake Valley last night.

I assume you were at the building off of SR-201 (approx. 2100 South) then? I drive by that place twice a day.

Yep, that's the one...4701 s 2100 west to be exact...

I took these of the Great Salt Lake today. Literally 10 minutes from my house.

This is looking out towards Antelope Island.

The building in the distance is Saltair. It used to be an amusement park years ago, but now it's just a tourist attraction, and they also host concerts there. I've seen Megadeth here 3 times, Dio, Yngwie Malmsteen, and a few others.

Nice pics, Shane!

So.....what yore sayin is....

all that snow turned to purdy blue water?

Yep, some of that goes in there. It's really a beautiful lake....... until you get out of the car. Then you want to get right back in the car because it stinks so bad.

These are a couple of pictures I took today of Storm Mountain, which is in Little Cottonwood canyon. You can still see some smoke is in the air (several fires this summer) in one or two of these. It's quite a beautiful little area. These were taken with my Droid X. It's a decent camera for a phone, but nothing like the pics Bob Ayers takes.

This one is blurry. I had a fingerprint on the lens. I didn't notice until we left. =(
